FairFrontiers Project Public Seminar
The Making and Un-Making of Frontiers: A FairFrontiers seminar and photovoice exhibition

概要

The seminar will feature talks of our research in Central Africa and Southeast Asia on how ‘frontiers’ are shaped by colonial path dependencies, investments and policy discourses, and met with everyday resistance of local populations.

We will hold a photo exhibition at the RIHN lobby from October 8-23. The exhibition features photovoice with local and indigenous communities in Campo Ma'an, Cameroon; South and West Sulawesi, Indonesia; and Pitas, Sabah, Malaysia; where they express their everyday lived experiences of living in frontiers.
