This research program is called "Co-creation of the Earth-Human System Program."
We live on a complex and intertwined Earth-human system where diverse people, societies, and nature coexist. What should people and society do to ensure the sustainable relationship between humanity and nature under the limitation of the natural environment? How should we live, and for what purpose? Thinking about global environmental issues means thinking about all of these in a connected way.
In order to understand these as a whole Earth Human System, this program will clarify how all elements are connected, where the divisions exist, and how we can co-create a better future society. This research program will continue to question how people and nature should be connected in the society, without considering human and nature as separate entities.
