Since 1970s, workers from South Asia have attracted towards Arabian Gulf Countries to be a part of development boom through construction and oil extraction. Indians especially South Indian now compose largest migrant population in the Gulf countries. This study pertaining to Indian migration specific to United Arab Emirates one of the Arab country which have largest migrant workers. The study was conducted in Abu Dhabi by Last December 2014. It is in continuation of our earlier research on livelihood diversification among the agrarian community in India where we came to know that Gulf migration was predominant strategy. Hence, we decided to do some empirical research on how migrant worker construct their livelihood in India by landing and earning in foreign lands. The primary objective of this research is that to analyse life of Indian migrant in Abu Dhabi. By method of snow ball sampling, we interviewed around 52 Indian migrants from the various part of Abu Dhabi. Results showed that life, livelihood and remittance pattern completely vary between workers, skilled technicians and Engineers. Skilled Technicians and Engineers were lived with their family where labour migrant were live single in the dormitory. Indian labour migrants preferred to work over time to earn extra income which had enormous implication in the remittance. Life of labour in Abu Dhabi was primarily depends on reliability of the company. Labour invested 50000 INR to 100,000 INR for migrant into Abu Dhabi. Average salary they received ranged from 15000 to 25000 per month. To earn and accumulate resource base in back home at least every migrant forced to stay 3-5 years. The study showed that life of migrants in the Abu Dhabi may not be sustainable as they contracted for 3 -5 years. On completion of contract they were forced to come back to India where they find themselves difficult to find appropriate employment opportunities and they decided to go for another migration to another company.
