Regarding the Selection of the Director-General of the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature

The National Institute for the Humanities announces that, following the completion of the term of office of current Director-General, YAMAGIWA Juichi, of the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, on March 31, 2027, a selection process was conducted and Mr. NAKASHIZUKA, Toru, former President of the Forest Research and Management Organization, National Research and Development Agency, has been selected as the next Director-General. 

The appointment of the next Director-General will be officially announced by the President of the National Institute for the Humanities on April 1, 2027, and the term of office will be four years.
