Research Topic:Anthropocene History in a Japanese Context: sharing perspectives and building new understanding
Dr. Oscar Hartman Davies is an environmental geographer interested in digital transformations in environmental monitoring and governance, particularly in the oceans. He is also interested in developing new knowledge co-production and communication approaches, through work with nature recovery practitioners and an ongoing museum exhibition project. During his visit, in consultation with Professor Taniguchi, he will present his research and participate in RIHN events, including the T3 Earth Forum. He will meet with RIHN members and researchers at other institutes in Japan, exploring possibilities for new collaborations and joint funding proposals.
