Abstract:
The RIHN project “Human-Environmental Security in Asia-Pacific Ring of Fire: Water-Energy-Food Nexus(WEFN project, R08-Init)”, which started from April 2013, aims to maximize human-environmental security (minimize the vulnerability) by choosing management structures and policies that optimize the water-energy-food nexus in Asia-Pacific ring of fire region.This workshop as a kickoff meeting of R-08 Init will discuss with project members from study sites including Indonesia, Philippines, Canada, US as well as Japan, on the 5 years milestone, outcomes, and coordination of the project.
