1. How the logo was designed and approved

Initially, several designs were devised and proposed as a prototype of the logo by Prof. Watanabe. Then, opinions of the ICCAP Secretariat members and voting result from the ICCAP member meeting were taken into account. Its present form was originally designed by Mr. Mamoru OTSUKA, who is also the designer of the RIHN logo, and underwent a number of modifications before we made the final decision. 2. What the logo symbolizes

1) The logo shape is created from a graphic image of the letters, "ICCAP".
2) The concept is that "ICC" embodies the energy and foundation, on which "AP", representing crops / vegetations, and humans, thrive. (i.e. "ICC" is bearing fruits "AP").
3) The red color for "I" represents the solar energy, which is a source of the hydraulic circle and plant production. Red is also one of the colors used in the national flags of both Turkey and Japan.
4) The colors for "CC", Mediterranean blue and light (aqua) blue, signify air, vapor, and river stream.
5) "AP" is painted with colors of soil and greenery, which embody crops and plants bearing flowers and fruits.
