Research Topic:
Exploring Satoyama as natureculture framework and land-based practice from which to learn about multi-species conviviality

During her stay, while discussing with Associate Professor Saeko Okada of the Public Relations Office and Visiting Professor Hein Mallee, she will conduct interviews with people involved in past and current projects of RIHN that have conducted research similar to that of Satoyama and Satoumi, as well as visit and interview the research fields to the extent possible. She will also visit and interview research fields. She will also observe the activities of organizations outside the institute that are involved in the conservation and utilization of Satoyama. In addition, workshops utilizing art will be planned to increase the public's interest in global environmental issues.
