Congratulations to Dr. Syukuro Manabe on his Nobel Prize

The Research Institute for Humanity and Nature (RIHN) congratulates Professor Syukuro Manabe of Princeton University for receiving the Nobel Prize in Physics. Dr. Manabe was praised for his achievements as a pioneer who developed a comprehensive model of climate change taking into consideration the circulation of the atmosphere and the ocean and he continued research on the prediction of global warming. Dr. Manabe is also the first inductee to the Earth Hall of Fame KYOTO. He is a researcher who is also involved with RIHN,and has visited the institute to give lectures several times in the past. His achievements have made a great contribution to the understanding of global environmental issues such as global warming, and we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for this award and pay tribute to his research activities. Keeping in mind the research results and lessons learned from Professor Manabe, we at RIHN are committed to addressing environmental problems such as climate change.
