The “Lifeworlds of Sustainable Food Consumption and Production: Agrifood Systems in Transition” PR announces the fifth seminar in the “ShokutoNou Seminar Series” entitled "Developing the EnQ label: tools and strategies to link agro-ecological impact, rural revitalization, and food consumption.” The seminar will take place on October 20th (Tuesday) at Campus Plaza near Kyoto Station.

Purpose of seminar:	This workshop explores tools and strategies that allow urban consumers to contribute to ecological sustainability and support rural agricultural economies through everyday food purchases. Members from Working Group Four (WG4) will present on issues related to the development of a multi-indicator, integrated food labelling scheme tentatively named the “EnQ Label.” The seminar will be followed by a meeting of WG4 and other project members to discuss concrete research plans.
