To hold an international pre-symposium as the first involvement in the international declaration of global research activities. The objective is to appeal to participants, both from Japan and other countries, regarding the creative shared awareness of “grasping global environmental problems as human culture".
In other words, to clarify the differences from “global environmental studies” as a generally broad concept, with the objective of holding an international pre-symposium on the formation of grass roots that will create “research into humanity and nature” as a way of “learning”.
Further, this symposium will be the precursor to the “2006 RIHN Inaugural International Symposium”, scheduled for academic year 2006.
