Reception of the visiting researcher (Anna LENAKER)

RIHN is currently receiving a scholarship student from The Luce Scholars Program as follows.

Anna Lenaker recently completed her Master of Environmental Management at the Yale School of the Environment, specializing in climate change science and solutions, as well as water resource science and management. There, her research included topics in Indigenous water rights and management, deforestation and extreme heat, and anthropogenic impacts on the Great Salt Lake in Utah. During her time at RIHN, she will be supervised by Professor TANIGUCHI Makoto. A science communicator and storyteller, Anna will be translating research findings and their importance to different audiences; sharing methodologies, ideas, and insights from RIHN to the world; and capturing the stories around environmental issues and research.
