The oasis project consists of six main groups, which are historical document group, ruins and geographic group, Natural proxy group, hydrology group, glacier group, and social economy group. Each group presented the results in last 4 years in this project. Based on the results, we discussed past environment in the Heife river basin, process of desertification, present policy on water use of Chinese government.
