Japanese research institute signs MoU with PU

LAHORE - Professor of Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, Japan, Prof. Toshiki Osada called on Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Arshad Mahmood in his office and signed an MOU to expand relations between both educational institutions.
Speaking on the occasion Mahmood said PU and RIHN are desirous of expanding academic cooperation and promote mutual understanding. Both institutions agreed to explore the feasibility of establishing a framework for educational and scientific cooperation.
Both will facilitate mutually beneficial training, research, and community based research projects. They will encourage student exchange and faculty exchange programs for research, lectures, and discussions.
Mahmood said that in the increasingly globalized world, linkages amongst organizations and professionals are becoming more and more important for growth and development. Institutions without active cooperation and linkage with other institutions may face hardships towards developments.
