Title: Action Research on Citizen Autonomy and Community Empowerment ~Practice of collaborative action research~
Abstract: To achieve sustainable community development following UN-SDGs, we need creative ideas and proactive actions by residents using local resources, and autonomy of local community play a key role. Based on this perspective, Institute of Economic and Political Studies, Kansai University, has been working on a study on Action Research on Citizen Autonomy and Community Empowerment. In this seminar, we will look at needs and outline of collaborative action research and relationships among researchers, residents, and governments by introducing collaborative action research cases on community autonomy.
