Title: Legal responses to Planetary Boundaries: how to transform international law? (tentative)

PETER RODERICK is a public interest lawyer and member of the ‘Alliance for Future Generations’. After qualifying and practising as a barrister, he worked for Shell until 1991, since when he has worked on many environmental issues with a broad range of organisations and individuals, including ‘Friends of the Earth’ and the ‘World Future Council’. He is author of ‘Taking the Longer View : UK Governance Options for a Finite Planet’ (2010, Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development and WWF-UK) and the ‘Draft Declaration on Planetary Boundaries’ (2011, WWF-UK).
