International Workshop on Subsurface Warming and Geothermal Energy

Date: 25 - 26 July 2012
Place: Lecture Hall, RIHN (arrow Access)
Organizer: Collaborative Research Group of Grant for Environmental Research Project “Comparative Research on Subsurface Warming in Asian Cities”
Sponsors:
Subsurface warming due to global warming and heat island effects spread all over the world in many cities. The increased thermal storage can be used as renewable energy. In this symposium, the current status of subsurface warming in China and Japan will be discussed as well as potential uses of thermal storage with examples in Europe.
